An Ibanez 12-string acoustic/electric. It has a black and brown finish with a rosewood fingerboard. Nice action...

I bought it at Eatons, (a dept store). It's disassembled at the moment becasue I used the elecronics and hardware in my LES PAUL guitar. I literally have spent countless hours on this guitar. I learned all the basic licks and patterns on this guitar.

I got it when I was around 12 years old. I rarely played above the 5th fret because of the poor action. I moved on to the Jumbo DIAII after this one around 3 or 4 years later.

It was sitting in a big box with the neck hanging out of the top of the box like a tower. It stood proudly there screaming, "Save me, Save Me PLEASE!!" So I did. It is real shitty guitar actually. (Playing wise). It has NO INTONATION above the 3rd fret! But, it has an interesting paint job on the top. There are palm trees and birds painted on it. It looked interesting enough to me to save and maybe display it in a bar or basement sometime. <div>

Old Acoustic 6 String Guitar

It was built in the 1930's or so I think. It is really not that playable. The strings are like, 1/2 inch off of the fretboard! The top is also a little, (lotta), warped!!

I bought it around 1990, I think, and has been my main guitar ever since and seen it all baby. The saddle on the high E-string broke once when I was tightening the saddle a few years ago. I had to settle for a chrome piece because I couldn't find a black one. Just finding one was an adventure in Toronto, believe it or not. I don't really want to name names but some big music stores didn't seem to want to help me too much. I have recently "scalloped" the fingerboard because of all the playing and by having to have the frets refinished lowered the height, I think.

It is a very small scale guitar that has lousy frets and no intonation. It is a piece of sh%#. It is more of a toy that a guitar really. I can't believe that I noodled on this thing for almost 4 years! I can't believe that so may guitars I had in the beginning were so unplayable...ha,ha,ha..Oh I remember why, we couldn't afford anything nice...:(<div>

It's a KRAMER FERRINGTON acoustic/electric that I actually ordered when they first came out. I still play this guitar a lot because it is set up just like my electrics.<div>

I bought the unfinished body at STEVE'S music store on Queen St in Toronto. I used the electronics and hardware from my VIBRA electric in this guitar. I painted it black because some of my guitar heroes have had black guitars. Jeff Beck (on the Blow By Blow album), Pete Townsend and B.B. King. I stripped the truss rod few years ago to try and improve the action and learn more about set-ups and building guitars...sometimes you gotta break a few eggs to make an omlet...

I really worked this guitar and my Vibra electric to death in my teens. They were always there for me. I think that guitars are great. Just like pets...they never lie, cheat, steal or stab you in the back and are always there for you. They really give me that unconditional love...(Sorry if I sound so pessimistic...I don't mean to...I am still a hopeless romantic at heart...LOL!!!!!)<div>
