I'm tired of having this list exist on 700 little scraps of paper distributed throughout my pockets, so here it is, consolidated.

I do love the variety of your collection to be. The Simon Cowell book had me a bit concerned for a second. It's a far leap from there to the Mill on the Floss! Although both you and kd find passages from The God of Small Things delightful, I found it merciful the author hasn't picked up a pencil since. The cover is pretty...but beware the disturbing randomness inside. It is a decent book for discussion though.
